La Safor is a group of towns and villages situated on the Costa Azahar in the
province of Valencia. It represents a wide range of varying environments,
industrial, coastal and mountain areas. Gandia is the capital of the area and
is a town of historical importance being the residence of the Borja family
since the 15th century.
The beach of Gandia is a popular seaside resort for Spanish families,
particularly from Madrid and there is a growing development of the mountain
area, just 15 minutes distance. This area is particularly beautiful, having
many orange and lemon groves, abundant spring water and breathtaking views.
Despite the peace and tranquility, it is not far from more diverse
